X17Online.com: We spotted Brit last night at 8:30 p.m. at the Four Seasons hotel in Beverly Hills (where we’ve seen her almost every day for the past week) crying! (Sad, huh?)
Apparently she was sobbing during dinner – with her new bodyguard/manny by her side – but still managed to puff through a few ciggies. She retreated upstairs to a room and we never spotted her come down again …
Her cousin/assistant Alli has been conspicuously absent over the past week, since we first saw the new bodyguard/manny come on board. A source is telling us Brit and Alli are taking a much-needed break after so much time together over the past few months — that a little spat has temporarily separated the two. Not surprising, since who wouldn’t eventually have trouble with another person after spending so much time together? We’re hoping it’s nothing serious and that the lovely Alli is back in Britney’s life soon. And best of luck to you, Brit!

Britney Spears is filing a restraining order against her mother.
The troubled singer, who allegedly visited her attorney to make enquiries about the order last week, is said to have completed the paperwork in an attempt to keep Lynne away from her two sons.
Britney claims Lynne is abusing prescription pain medication and should not be allowed to see 21-month-old Sean Preston and nine-month-old Jayden James.
The papers were allegedly due to be filed late on Monday or on Tuesday, according to website X17Online.
Britney is said to be furious with Lynne for visiting Sean Preston and Jayden James at her estranged husband Kevin Federline’s home.
She believes Lynne and Kevin forced her to enter rehab earlier this year to seek help for her alleged alcohol addiction and post-natal depression.
Britney is also said to be livid that her mother sided with Kevin during the couple’s custody battle.
Lynne recently claimed her relationship with her daughter was improving, but insisted Britney still had a long way to go before overcoming her problems.
She said: “It’s sad that the whole world had to watch her make mistakes that all of us have made at one time or another.
“Britney Jean Spears is the sweetest and the most sensitive and loving of all my children. She is figuring things out.”

Singer Britney Spears is trying to connect to her mum Lynne Spears, with whom she is said to have had a fall out after being asked to quit her partying habits and check into rehab.
On her updates website, the Toxic singer posted the words ‘Mother to grandmother, and my my you’re grand’.
Recently, Spears was seen laughing and chatting with her mother in Bel Air, when they visited her sister Jamie Spears and her boyfriend.
Recently, Lynne told US magazine that it is sad that the whole word had to watch her celeb daughter making mistakes.
“You go into a time in your life with the world watching and you are just trying to figure yourself out. It’s sad that the whole world had to watch her make mistakes that all of us have made at one time or another,” Contactmusic quoted her, as telling the magazine.
Lynne Spears added that the 25-year-old is just ‘trying to figure out things’, and that she is the ’sweetest, sensitive ad the most loving’ of all her children
“Britney Jean Spears is the sweetest and the most sensitive and loving of all my children. She’s just figuring things out,” she said.

A source close to Britney gave some shocking news – Britney’s visit to her attorney’s office yesterday may have been part of Spears’ research into filing a restraining order against her own mother, to keep Grandma away from Jayden and Sean!
Britney and Lynne’s relationship soured when Brit was forced into rehab by her family and management (according to Brit herself) and when it appeared that Lynne was taking Kevin’s side in the custody battle involving her own daughter and her daughter’s estranged husband.
Then reports had the mother and daughter reconciling last month and we did catch Brit’s mom and her daughter’s Bel Air home, but Britney was mum on mom the following day when we asked if she was happy to see her mom again. We haven’t seen the two together since then and now our source is telling us there are some very deep problems between the two. Apparently Britney feels the situation is serious enough to file a restraining order against her own mother to keep her mom away from her two sons, according to our source.

Radio station billboards that featured unflattering photos of a bald, scowling Britney Spears have been taken down after the pop star’s attorneys threatened legal action.
In a letter to Clear Channel Communications Inc. dated Thursday, Spears’ attorneys accused the company of “offensive, unauthorized commercial exploitation” of the 25-year-old singer, and demanded that the three billboards in the Tampa area be removed. The letter was posted on The Smoking Gun Web site.
The billboards, advertisements for WFLZ FM’s “The MJ Morning Show,” depicted a bald Spears and show host Todd Schnitt along with the slogans “Total Nut Jobs,” “Shock Therapy” and “Certifiable.”
“We have confirmed that the billboards are down,” Clear Channel spokeswoman Michele Clarke said Tuesday. She referred other questions to the Clear Channel offices in Tampa, whose representatives didn’t immediately return a call seeking comment.
“Clear Channel has removed the billboards, and I’m not happy with that,” Schnitt told the St. Petersburg Times.
A call to the Los Angeles attorney who signed the letter to Clear Channel wasn’t immediately returned Tuesday.
Spears completed a monthlong stay at a luxury Malibu, Calif., rehabilitation treatment facility in March after attracting an onslaught of media attention for wild behavior that included partying with Paris Hilton and a stop at a San Fernando Valley hair salon, where she shaved her own head.

Britney Spears is threatening legal action against a Florida radio station that used a bald-headed photo of the pop star on billboards that appear to call her sanity into question. In a June 14 letter to Clear Channel Communications lawyer Donna Schneider, Spears’s counsel claims that the billboards promoting the MJ Morning Show were “outrageous to the extreme” and demanded their removal. A copy of the Spears legal letter can be found below. The three outdoor advertisements, which are reproduced at right, pair a paparazzi photo of a bald, snarling Spears with a picture of WFLZ morning show host Todd Schnitt (who uses the air name MJ Kelli). They are headlined, “Total Nut Jobs,” “Shock Therapy,” and “Certifiable.” According to the star’s lawyer, Spears’s “likeness has a multi-million-dollar value for authorized commercial exploitations” and, as a result, she is entitled to “very substantial damages” from Clear Channel. The MJ Morning Show airs on several stations across Florida. The Spears billboards, which first appeared in April, advertised the program in Tampa, Jacksonville, and Clearwater.

Britney Spears caused chaos in Santa Monica, California yesterday in what appeared to be a desperate attempt to get a little paparazzi attention. Photographers camped outside celebrity hotspot the Casa Del Mar hotel, hoping for the chance to shoot Britney’s one-time pop rival Mandy Moore – who was conducting press interviews inside, were stunned when the singer slowly drove by.
One bystander says, “It seemed obvious that Britney wanted to get noticed and photographed – why else would you show up at one of California’s paparazzi hang-outs. She drove really slowly and doubled back on herself to make sure that everyone who wanted to get a shot, got a shot.” But Britney’s afternoon out turned ugly when her security guard, who was with her for the drive, had to fight off one snapper who got too close to his charge.
The onlooker says, “Britney had to make a run for it in the end. She and her bodyguard ended up hanging out by the hotel pool – in full view of everyone.”

UBritney.com: J.R. Rotem is featured in the brand new issue of ‘Blender’ magazine, which features The White Stripes on the cover. Inside the magazine, J.R. makes sure to get in his fair share of Britney-bashing, and then back-tracking! Here is how the article reads:
“I fucked Britney wheelbarrow style.” Jonathan “J.R.” Rotem is holding court at his Beluga Heights studio in West Hollywood, California. The music producer is wearing enormous silver Elvis sunglasses and a diamond-encrusted keyboard around his neck; his hair glistens like a bird in an oil spill. To the audience clustered around his couch – his manager Zach Katz, two cameramen filming a reality-show pilot, Denaun Porter of hip-hop group D12 – Rotem offers a series of impromptu non sequiturs: “I have a fear of germs”; “I don’t invest in real estate, I invest in jewelry”; “I’m a Leo, a lion”; “I’ve seen Zoolander 100 times”; and, finally, “I fucked Britney wheelbarrow style. Just kidding.” He waits a beat. “It was tractor style.” You may recall Rotem’s name and/or hair from the gossip blogs. Back in December, five weeks after Spears sent Kevin Federline packing from Malibu to the Valley, sandwiched somewhere in the midst of her cataclysmic mental mudslide – between paparazzi shots of her bald beaver and her nude noggin – grainy footage appeared of the postpartum pop star climbing onto Rotem’s lap, cigarette in hand, leaning in for a kiss. They had been working together on her next record and capped the night with the Cameron Diaz chick flick The Holiday – and some curbside canoodling. Back at Beluga Heights, Rotem’s old friend Porter presses him for salacious details about that night. “How did you do that?” the rapper asks, slapping his thigh in disbelief. “I heard she’s on the wild side. Is that true?” The cameramen exchange excited glances. Whether out of respect for Spears or concern for his career, Rotem clams up. His right foot twitches; his knuckles whiten on the arm of the leather couch. An awkward silence creeps in. “We were working in the studio together,” Rotem replies flatly, trying to bring the conversation to a halt. He ventures something about a sampling machine. But Porter just ignores him: “You are a hound dog!” he shouts. “I remember when he get no pussy. Now he gettin all kind of pussy.”
Later in the article, after mentioning how the shots of him making out with Britney got him bounced from K-Fed’s MySpace Friend’s List, the Britney talk picks up again:
He talks about promiscuity (“I don’t have one-night stands”) and, finally, what really happened with Britney Spears. “Britney and I were in a relationship,” he says quietly. “We were dating for about two weeks but decided for both our careers that it wouldn’t be cool to have a romantic relationship. She was really emotional and distressed at the time.” Rotem says he doesn’t regret what happened, or his overnight notoriety; he knows it’s good for business. But whatever anyone thinks of him, he insists he always tries to do the right thing. “There are definitely times when I’m an arrogant, vain asshole. But the bigger part is sensitive, good-hearted. People who just see me in front of the paparazzi acting like a jackass have no clue who I am.” And with that, Rotem texts Paris [Hilton] to see where she’s gone off to.

Though the rift between Lynne and Britney Spears had been growing for quite some time, it was Lynne’s relationship with Kevin Federline’s first ex, Shar Jackson, that pushed things over the edge. While Britney, 25, was at Promises Treatment Center following her dramatic head-shaving incident, Lynne was getting to know “the other woman.”
It all started when Lynne dropped grandsons Sean, 21 months, and Jayden, 9 months, at father Federline’s house. Shar, 30, who also has two children with Federline, 29, was there as well, and ended up watching Spears’ sons. After meeting, Lynne and Shar “started talking all the time,” a Jackson source tells Us. Spears was enraged. “She decided she had to cut out everyone who was using her, and that included her parents,” says a source.
Jackson confirmed the friendship for Us yesterday, saying, Lynne is “a really nice lady… It was easy for us to get along once we met.” She also thinks it’s time for Lynne and Brit to “work it out. They are mother and daughter. They need to talk already.”

Britney Spears mom should have been on ‘The View’ today but she has now cancelled, according to the network’s schedule. It’s not clear why but many speculate that Britney put the kibosh on the appearance.
Now reports claim that Britney may end up feuding with her mom for a whole lot longer. According to a report from In Touch Weekly, the pop star – who had a falling out with her mom, Lynne, after feeling she had been forced to go to rehab – won’t be happy when she finds out that Lynne, 52, and little sis, Jaime Lynn, 16, spent time with her soon-to-be ex-husband, Kevin Federline’s former girlfriend, Shar Jackson, at the Dancing With the Stars finale in LA on May 22.
Now wonder Brit is miffed. “They were hanging out and chatting about the kids,” says an insider. “They got along really well and went to a restaurant for dinner after the show.” Britney didn’t like Shar, 30, hanging out with her kids – Sean Preston, 20 months, and Jayden, 8 months – when Shar would see Kevin, but the insider says this will hit Britney even harder.
“There is a serious rift between her and her mom right now and this isn’t going to help it.” The report claims that Britney hasn’t spoken to her mom, Lynne, in weeks.
