Britney Spears is filing a restraining order against her mother.
The troubled singer, who allegedly visited her attorney to make enquiries about the order last week, is said to have completed the paperwork in an attempt to keep Lynne away from her two sons.
Britney claims Lynne is abusing prescription pain medication and should not be allowed to see 21-month-old Sean Preston and nine-month-old Jayden James.
The papers were allegedly due to be filed late on Monday or on Tuesday, according to website X17Online.
Britney is said to be furious with Lynne for visiting Sean Preston and Jayden James at her estranged husband Kevin Federline’s home.
She believes Lynne and Kevin forced her to enter rehab earlier this year to seek help for her alleged alcohol addiction and post-natal depression.
Britney is also said to be livid that her mother sided with Kevin during the couple’s custody battle.
Lynne recently claimed her relationship with her daughter was improving, but insisted Britney still had a long way to go before overcoming her problems.
She said: “It’s sad that the whole world had to watch her make mistakes that all of us have made at one time or another.
“Britney Jean Spears is the sweetest and the most sensitive and loving of all my children. She is figuring things out.”

Singer Britney Spears is trying to connect to her mum Lynne Spears, with whom she is said to have had a fall out after being asked to quit her partying habits and check into rehab.
On her updates website, the Toxic singer posted the words ‘Mother to grandmother, and my my you’re grand’.
Recently, Spears was seen laughing and chatting with her mother in Bel Air, when they visited her sister Jamie Spears and her boyfriend.
Recently, Lynne told US magazine that it is sad that the whole word had to watch her celeb daughter making mistakes.
“You go into a time in your life with the world watching and you are just trying to figure yourself out. It’s sad that the whole world had to watch her make mistakes that all of us have made at one time or another,” Contactmusic quoted her, as telling the magazine.
Lynne Spears added that the 25-year-old is just ‘trying to figure out things’, and that she is the ’sweetest, sensitive ad the most loving’ of all her children
“Britney Jean Spears is the sweetest and the most sensitive and loving of all my children. She’s just figuring things out,” she said.

A source close to Britney gave some shocking news – Britney’s visit to her attorney’s office yesterday may have been part of Spears’ research into filing a restraining order against her own mother, to keep Grandma away from Jayden and Sean!
Britney and Lynne’s relationship soured when Brit was forced into rehab by her family and management (according to Brit herself) and when it appeared that Lynne was taking Kevin’s side in the custody battle involving her own daughter and her daughter’s estranged husband.
Then reports had the mother and daughter reconciling last month and we did catch Brit’s mom and her daughter’s Bel Air home, but Britney was mum on mom the following day when we asked if she was happy to see her mom again. We haven’t seen the two together since then and now our source is telling us there are some very deep problems between the two. Apparently Britney feels the situation is serious enough to file a restraining order against her own mother to keep her mom away from her two sons, according to our source.

Though the rift between Lynne and Britney Spears had been growing for quite some time, it was Lynne’s relationship with Kevin Federline’s first ex, Shar Jackson, that pushed things over the edge. While Britney, 25, was at Promises Treatment Center following her dramatic head-shaving incident, Lynne was getting to know “the other woman.”
It all started when Lynne dropped grandsons Sean, 21 months, and Jayden, 9 months, at father Federline’s house. Shar, 30, who also has two children with Federline, 29, was there as well, and ended up watching Spears’ sons. After meeting, Lynne and Shar “started talking all the time,” a Jackson source tells Us. Spears was enraged. “She decided she had to cut out everyone who was using her, and that included her parents,” says a source.
Jackson confirmed the friendship for Us yesterday, saying, Lynne is “a really nice lady… It was easy for us to get along once we met.” She also thinks it’s time for Lynne and Brit to “work it out. They are mother and daughter. They need to talk already.”

“Extra” can reveal that after not speaking for months, Brit started re-bonding with mom Lynn over lunch in Beverly Hills this weekend.
And now Lynne is speaking out!
Proud that Britney’s got her priorities back in order, Momma Spears told Us Weekly, “I can see Britney’s life picking up, and it’s just going to hold great things for her. Everything is going to be really good.”
Ian Drew, Us Weekly’s editor, shed a little light on what caused their relationship to so famously fizzle out.
“Britney’s the one who decided to pull the plug on the relationship,” he revealed.
Drew said it all went downhill because Brit felt Lynne forced her into rehab back in February.
“Britney feels that her parents turned on her,” Drew explained. “When they sided with Kevin Federline, her ex-husband, and took her children away, making her go to rehab, she felt complete turned on.”
Britney’s mom said that scenes like last night – where Britney showed a little more than she should have to waiting paparazzi – are just all part of growing up.
“It’s sad that the whole world had to watch her make mistakes that all of us have made at one time or another,” Lynne said.
Speaking of mistakes…
“Extra” has learned the truth about reports that Britney is thinking about getting back together with ex-hubby and baby-daddy K-Fed.
Federline’s people tell us that a Britney, who once reportedly told Kevin that he was her “biggest mistake,” is not getting back together with him.
“Not true,” K-Fed’s rep said of the rumors.

TOB: There are rumors that Britney had a secret meeting in LA to meet with her mom, Lynne Spears to end their feud. Apparently, she has decided to forgive her family for “forcing her into a hell called rehab” after meeting with them at a Bel Air mansion. Her mom was accompanied by Jamie Lynn and her boyfriend.
Splash-Video.com: Britney in her black Mercedes arrived first escorted by her bodyguards and Britney’s mother hiding in the back of the car followed 20 minutes later and all parties departed the gated estate approximately 1 hour later looking in good spirits. Things have been extremely strained between Britney and her mother so bad in fact that according to rumor she refused to see her mother on Mothers Day even though Lynne was sick with pneumonia. After recovering Lynne had been scheduled for what was believed to be a tell all about her famous daughter on the television show The View but at the last minute pulled the pin.

Britney Spears mom should have been on ‘The View’ today but she has now cancelled, according to the network’s schedule. It’s not clear why but many speculate that Britney put the kibosh on the appearance.
Now reports claim that Britney may end up feuding with her mom for a whole lot longer. According to a report from In Touch Weekly, the pop star – who had a falling out with her mom, Lynne, after feeling she had been forced to go to rehab – won’t be happy when she finds out that Lynne, 52, and little sis, Jaime Lynn, 16, spent time with her soon-to-be ex-husband, Kevin Federline’s former girlfriend, Shar Jackson, at the Dancing With the Stars finale in LA on May 22.
Now wonder Brit is miffed. “They were hanging out and chatting about the kids,” says an insider. “They got along really well and went to a restaurant for dinner after the show.” Britney didn’t like Shar, 30, hanging out with her kids – Sean Preston, 20 months, and Jayden, 8 months – when Shar would see Kevin, but the insider says this will hit Britney even harder.
“There is a serious rift between her and her mom right now and this isn’t going to help it.” The report claims that Britney hasn’t spoken to her mom, Lynne, in weeks.

If five young, good looking Backstreet Boys aren’t enough for their many fans, take heart, there’s another one on the horizon.A major record company in Germany has now signed the pubescent Aaron Carter, brother of the Backstreet blonde, Nick Carter.
Nick, 17, is the youngest Backstreet boy but he’s the oldest of five Carter kids. Aaron and his twin sister Angel are nine, and they have two older sisters, 11 and 14.
Young Aaron opened a show for his brother’s band in Berlin earlier this year and duly impressed the large Edel record company, which promptly signed him to a worldwide deal. Aaron will again be opening for the boys when they head back to Europe starting August 22 in Hanover, Germany. Aaron will be promoting the August 18 overseas release of his first single, a song called “Crush On You.”
As we reported previously, The Backstreet Boys’ debut album will finally be released in the States August 12. It’s been a top seller in other markets around the world for up to a year. The single, “Quit Playing Games,” is currently climbing the U.S. charts.
